Described as “ingenious and compelling” by The Times and “most impressive” by Songlines, Addictive TV are touring their latest project ‘Orchestra of Samples’, the album is released on !K7 / OSi.  Take over 200 musicians from more than 25 different countries and imagine that they never met or recorded together but are sampled and combined into extraordinary fusions, crossing multiple styles and cultures.  Five years in the making, the duo composed music by sampling recording sessions they filmed with musicians improvising in countries from Brazil to Senegal, Egypt to Kazakhstan and far beyond. Guest musicians often join them on stage on this musical journey without borders.

 

As video remixing DJs, Addictive TV are also known for their incredibly popular AV mashup set – filling dancefloors and festival tents in over 50 countries now, sampling and cutting-up everything from Stevie Wonder and Delicatessen to Manu Chao and Star Trek.
